- One Channel = One Risk
One Channel = One Risk

When I started doing outreach, the advice was unanimous:
“Either do LinkedIn outreach or go all in on cold emails.”
I heard this from mentors, growth experts, and just about every content creator shouting about niches and focus.
They gave no middle ground.
And at first, that made sense. Specificity scales, right?
However, when I looked at the clients I wanted to work with—their behaviors, their pain points, their buying patterns—I realized something:
Not everyone fits into a single box.
Not every ICP scrolls LinkedIn.
And not every offer gets traction from email alone.
So I broke the rule.
I chose both.
The Two Speeds of Outreach
LinkedIn moves fast.
You can post, connect, message, and book a call—all in a single day. You show up, build trust, and earn visibility before a single cold message is ever sent.
Cold email, on the other hand, is slower by design.
It takes real groundwork. You have to:
Warm up domains
Write and refine sequences
A/B test for performance
Monitor deliverability
Compete in a crowded, noisy inbox
Still, I kept both outreach channels in my strategy.
Why? Because each channel plays a different role.
LinkedIn helps me build credibility and attract interest within the platform.
Cold email helps me grow a pipeline outside of it, beyond algorithms or follower counts.
And together, they work better than either one alone.
Why I Don’t Rely on One Channel
Here’s what happened when I stopped choosing between the two:
→ I used LinkedIn to build proof and validate demand
→ I used cold email to capture leads outside my sphere of influence
→ I created a feedback loop between channels that made both stronger
It’s not about doing more for the sake of more.
It’s about doing what gives your business real long-term leverage.
And this is what I build for clients: a multi-channel approach that connects the dots, gets immediate results, and compounds over time.
The Truth About Diversifying Outreach
Not every offer works on both channels. And not every buyer lives in both places.
If you’re relying on a single strategy, you’re walking a tightrope without a safety net.
When LinkedIn engagement slows down, cold email keeps you moving. When cold email outreach is oversaturated, your credibility and influence on LinkedIn fill the gap.
This is the kind of outreach that adapts to changing conditions. It’s not just more resilient—it’s more effective.
Are Objections Slowing Down Your Cold Emails?
When your cold email resonates with your reader (the right message at the right time), it works fast. You could be on a call with them that day or the next.
When roadblocks pop up—and they mostly always do—people tend to freeze or give up.
That’s why I put together a resource to make those moments easier to navigate:
Inside the Cold Email Objection Handling Templates, you'll find:
Proven responses to the most common cold email objections
Plug-and-play templates for “not interested,” “no budget,” and “we’re all set”
And ways to keep the conversation alive (without being pushy)
If you're doing outbound, don’t just hope for fewer objections—prepare for them.
